THE MEN BEHIND THE MISSION.

Forged Brotherhood is built to be a brotherhood, not one man's platform.

FOUNDER

VIRGIL MEDEIROS

Forged Brotherhood was founded by Virgil Medeiros, a husband, father, United States Marine Corps veteran, and longtime leader of men and youth.

Virgil served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps from 1995 to 2003. During an unaccompanied six-month deployment to Okinawa, Japan, in 1999, he gave his life to Christ.

That decision changed the direction of his life.

In the years that followed, Virgil spent nearly 15 years serving, mentoring, leading, and developing young people and has continued serving in church ministry in a variety of roles focused on men, discipleship, fellowship, and leadership.

Over time, Proverbs 27:17 became more than a familiar verse about men sharpening one another. It became a picture of the kind of Christian community he wanted to help create.

Forged Brotherhood grew from that conviction.

What began as a desire to intentionally live out biblical brotherhood with a community of men in Spring Branch, Texas, became a larger vision: create a place where men can encounter Jesus, find genuine community, grow in their faith, and help another man do the same.

There is no requirement to have everything figured out.

There is a requirement to show up.

Come hungry. Be honest. Open the Word. Ask questions. Pray. Serve. Encourage another man. Let other men encourage you.

Then go live it out.
